I have been working as a professional studio potter for over 25 years. I am primarily self-taught in art, but did earn a B.S. in Art Education as well. I have had the privilege of studying under many great potters, including Paul Soldner, Doug Casebeer, Chris Staley, and many other potters that encouraged and inspired me to create pots.
I specialize in Raku and lowfire techniques using copper as a main element in my glazes. Much of my work incorporates my passion for horses and the western lifestyle. My pieces are original, hand sculpted, from a lump of clay. My work is marketed in galleries, museums, regional and national art shows, and online, through Etsy and this website.
